Battery Pack Location and Installation

The MS1300 battery pack is located on the back of the unit. To

remove or replace the battery pack, pull the notched tab downward,

and lift up the battery pack.

To install the battery pack, insert the bottom of the pack into the

groove and press down on the battery pack until it clicks into place.

Charging the Battery Pack

To recharge the battery pack, plug the AC adapter into the unit. The

unit will reach fully charged in 16 hours with unit off, and 30 hours

with unit operating.

Battery Tips

The MS1300 is shipped from the factory only with a light charge. You

should recharge the battery upon receipt of your unit to ensure a full

charge.

To maximize battery life, set Auto Shutoff to 1 minute and Backlight

Shutoff to "always off".These items are described in the Global

Configuration section.
